Meet Our 2025-26 Exec Board!

Sofia Barrientos

President

Major: Economics and International Business 

Area of Emphasis: Consulting, Business Analytics 

Minor: Italian 

Hometown: Cumming, GA

Year: Senior 

Involvement outside of WiE: UGA Catholic Center

Fun Fact: This summer I interned in Barcelona Spain and had an amazing time! You should definitely ask me about it if you're interested in studying away. 

Favorite part of WiE: The relationship building and professional networking. 



Katy Olson

Vice President

Major: Economics and Political Science

Area of Emphasis: Consulting 

Hometown: Overland Park, Kansas 

Year: 2nd 

Involvement outside of WiE: Relay For Life fundraising logistics lead, Corporate Pre-Law Society, Alpha Gamma Delta, Arch Policy Institute, Women in Business

Fun Fact: One of my bucket list items is to go to all the National Parks! This summer I went backpacking in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Park! 

Favorite part of WiE: The recruiter events and faculty mixers!

Blake Jorgensen

VP of Logistics

Major: Economics 

Certificate: Legal Studies 

Hometown: Charlotte, North Carolina 

Year: 4th 

Involvement outside of WiE: VP of Consulting for Sustainable Business Society, Alpha Chi Omega

Fun Fact: I have a kitten named Sasha!

Favorite part of WiE: The law school panel event last fall was so informative for me as a pre-law student and taught me so much!


Irene Skow

VP of Membership

Major: Economics and Finance 

Area of Emphsis: Business Analytics 

Hometown: Marietta, GA  

Year: 4th 

Involvement outside of WiE: Co-President of Aces for Athens, trumpet player in Redcoats 

Fun Fact: I’m taking aerial dance this semester, and this summer I got to live in Boston, MA while interning for Textron!

Favorite part of WiE: Getting to meet and learn from other WiE members.

Anvi Agrawal

VP of Marketing

Major: Economics

Minors: Spanish, Law, Jurisprudence, and the State

Certificate: Legal Studies

Hometown: Cumming, GA  

Year: 3rd 

Involvement outside of WiE: VP of Community Development at Econ Society, Secretary of Corporate Pre-Law Society

Fun Fact: This summer, I interned at Textron in Augusta and became a lot better at pickleball!

Favorite part of WiE: Learning about the different routes that our talented members are pursuing with their econ degrees!

Lauren Broderson

VP of Communications

Major:  A.B. Economics

Minor: Law, Jurisprudence, and the State   

Area of Emphasis: Data Analytics and Consulting 

Hometown: Dunwoody, GA  

Year: 4th 

Involvement outside of WiE: Honors Student Council Exec, Women in Consulting

Fun Fact: Last summer I explored Greece and worked in data & analytics in San Francisco!

Favorite part of WiE: I have made many great connections -- I love seeing so many familiar faces in Terry!


Madison Schwartz

VP of Finance

Area of Emphasis: Data Analytics

Involvement outside of WiE: Econ Society, Miracle, Mentor Program, Studied abroad

Fun Fact: This summer I went to Germany for two weeks! 

Favorite part of WiE: Having a group of women in a traditionally male dominated major. This group is an academic community I had a hard time reaching in just classes!

VP of Operations

Involvement outside of WiE: Economics Society, Phi Alpha Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma

Fun Fact: This summer I was a Private Wealth Management intern at William Blair in Chicago, IL!

Favorite part of WiE: Being able to connect with the Terry community, as well as the professional development events!
